All of the parts are new. New master/slave cylinder, throwout bearing, new clutch, new flywheel, etc, etc, etc. When the clutch is all the way up, I can push it down maybe an inch and all I get is spring. After that inch then I start to get clutch. And once I do get the clutch, it's very light. Also, if I'm driving around and I push it down the first inch, I can feel a vibration in the pedal. Is this normal?
I know the inch and the lightness isn't normal, because in the wrecked 540 the clutch was far heavier and didn't have any play in it.
I've driven cars with air in the brakes and this is not like it. The pedal is very consistent past the one inch.
Only thing that is dicy is the hydro lines that I have..I got a POS "custom" hydro line from a hydro shop and I've attached that to a E30 clutch line I got a junkyard.
Any ideas? If I can't figure it out soon I'm going to take it to a shop :(
