did anyone ever carry a good poly engine mount set for the e34 535i?
seems all i can find are rubber. the poly mounts i've found are specific to m30 swaps into e30's.

i've never seen it, but unless you track it, i wouldn't put them on for daily driving. They are still as f#ck, and in a month of driving with those mounts every plastic piece inside the car will start squeaking including your dash, and other sh!t inside will get loose. I had those on my other cars thats how i know.

Make them. NAPA sells 3m window weld (high strength poly-u). Take your existing mount cut away the rubber fill in the poly-u and BAM mounts/suspention components are now poly-u for: ...well window weld only costs $15. I've done this with countless mounts and have never had one fail. just make sure you let it dry 24hrs.

I have had poly mounts in 3 different cars.. Never had any issues with vibrations etc. Now solid mounts are a different story

I'm impressed that you know what will happen with a product, in an application you've never seen... If your dash starts to rattle, fix it. Interior pieces come lose over time as well and need to be re-adhered.

The dash starts to rattle due to stiff motor mounts over time. I have had them on my Audis and my e30's. And i've never seen the dash getting loose overtime for no reason, it's just not one of those things.

Our e34 dash? You're right! Obviously impossible on a car that's at least sixteen years old... and if 'it's just not one of those things' your really have never seen an alfa romero or a fiat after about five years have you?

Its been winter so i've been playing video games and working on a jeep. GTX, sadly, is sold. But it went to a good owner who's already got it running and is working on restoring it.

It does considering I made them, and could make a set of whatever dimensions you require. Be a little creative.

They are, but a better less expensive option than the stock oil filled B35 mounts. Also an option for those that do not need/want poly mounts.
