M60B40 plastic in oil pan

I took of oil pan of my 540iA today and found that 3 bolts had come off. allso there was shattered plastic ring and pin in pan. Any idea where that came from? Ring has print on it 8, 62 and circle that has square in it

Bolts are likely from the oil pump, I'd drop your pan and check your pump ASAP.

Not sure about the ring...

He did not find the bolts inside. Only the small pin and O-ring. Unfortunately I am unfamiliar with the 540, but keep us updated.I'd like to know. Thanks.
