My drivers-side OEM floor mat is shot (pins are gone, rides up on gas pedal), so it's time to replace 'em. I had the VW factory rubber mats in my old car and would like a set of rubber mats in my new E34 touring also.

That said, has anyone used the $64.95 BavAuto All Weather Mats?

It doesn't look like they have the OEM pins to hold them in place, but I'm thinking they might be textured so they don't move as much as the factory mats (which are a rather slippery foam on the bottom), plus the rubber is probably much stiffer than the factory cloth. If they're no good, let me know and I'll suck it up and get another set of OEM mats... just thought I'd check in before clicking "buy".

Thanks!

I have a set of the BavAuto all weather mats in my E34 Touring and have had them for about 4 years now. They have held up very well. They have a cut out where you can utilize the OEM pins and I have done so with the front floor mats. I'll probably get another set if these wear out.

Thanks for the input! I'm going to order a set now.

They will ride up with out the anchors in place. I have a set w/o anchors and they need to be readjusted every so often.

Thanks Stealth. Unfortunately I already ordered them, so we'll see what variety arrives at my door. Regardless, if they don't have the anchors, I'll probably just stick some velcro to the bottom.

Thanks again!

I think you misunderstood my reply.

The BavAuto all weather mats have the factory anchor points marked on the mat itself, and you can choose to actually open up the hole there if you choose.

My car did not come with anchors mounted in the carpet floor. Therefore, I chose not to drill out those holes since there's nothing to attach the mats to.

If your car does have anchor points that are mounted on the carpet floor, then you simply open the hole on the mats and voila.
