Common on cricle-track cars, formula cars, but haven't heard anything good about them on the tin-tops (street cars). One guy had a 6/4 pistons setup on his E30 M3, and he complained about lack of brake feel and it was too easy to lock them up. This could easily have been remedied with a different master cylinder size. You have to look at how rigid the caliper is, how well the seals hold up to the high pressure of a street-car brake system, and wheel clearance.

you do know that the hamann kit is not a 6 pot kit. If you are looking for a good kit i would go stoptech they are very good and are cheaper then most other set ups

If you don't track the car, why are you getting them?
This is just a waste of money if you are just driving around on the street.

for show
i mean i track like 1 or 2 times a year for fun but im not even good enough to need a brake upgrade.

Well, at least you are honest.
You made it sound like you wanted it for a street upgrade, which BBK's really aren't for. They are for sustaining consistant braking lap after lap at the track..... or to just look good.

if your going show i would go stoptech then there kit is like 2000$ and you will get the look you want and they will perform as good as the hamann kit
And if yea do want 6 pistons then at ap racing kit is 3000 and the brembo kit is around 2300
