My brake fluid it leaking at an alarming rate.
While inspecting the fluid resevoir, I noticed that it was a little wobblely.
It was not firmly afixed on top of the master.
Can anyone chime in who has expirienced this or who may know what the fix is.
Will replacing parts #2 fix the issue......

Well the reservoir is in a rubber mounting, so you can expect some flex. You should not see leaking fluid though. If you see leaking fluid, the grommets need to be replaced.
Have you determined your leak to be from this location?

I have not determined that the grommets are indeed the issue. As soon as I felt the woobling of the reservoir, I backed off and didn't boither it. Is that a common place for leaks to accur?

Have you cleaned the area with water and looked for leaks?

The grommets are 18 years old or so, they are probably shot.

I have not. I will tackle that this weekend.
If I have to remove the brake fluid reservoir to inspect the plugs that secure it to the MC, does it require a lot of force or will it simply pop out if I pull up while holding the MC?

Get your new grommets first. Suck out the fluid with a turkey baster. This will lesson the mess. Then grip it and rip it. Once you install the new grommets flush and bleed the system.
