Quick question for you guys, after some very cold weather I noticed my '95 540i started doing the following:
- When I turn off the ignition, all the windows roll up automatically and the sunroof closes
- After I lock the car, the window switches are lit up for hours
-If someone locks a door accidentally while I'm driving, once I park and turn the car off, the system is confused and thinks I've already exited the vehicle. The door locks can't be pulled up from the inside, and the engine cannot be restarted.
- The only way to get out is to turn the ignition to run, roll down the drivers side window all the way, quickly stick the key in the outside of the door and unlock it manually as the window is rolling up. My arm is quickly getting one nasty bruise after another from getting sandwiched in the window.
Does anyone know how I can go about troubleshooting this?
