Duplicate posts....

Bimmerforums is experiencing high load on the servers due to the release of the new mobile phone application. This load is causing the server to make 2-3-4 posts when you hit submit. This is nothing that you the user is doing wrong.

However, I ask that when you inadvertently make duplicate posts, that you delete them.

Task:

Click the EDIT post button of the post you want to delete.
When that opens, click the DELETE button in the lower left.
Then select the DELETE radio button on the lower left.
Finally, click the DELETE POST button on the lower right.

Pretty easy.

Thanks for you help in this matter as Im pulling my hair out doing this myself for an hour a day.

Forgot to mention....

If your duplicate post is the first of a thread...in other words if you created duplicate threads...no matter how you try, it wont delete.

Only mods can delete threads...

You all might want to consider right click copy your text when input into a post before you reply.....Ive had mine lost several times with the server busy error.
