Im back!!..no more E36

So ive been looking in to getting back in to an E34 recently and was considering all 5-series models. The only one that was reliable enough to drive off was a 530i. So I picked it up Monday morning. The car runs very good with very minimal rust on the bottom of the doors(it was sitting for a while). Clutch is tight and was surprised that this V8 gets decent gas mileage. Pic of the dirty car is below and will update with cleaned up pix. Not bad for $2K and 148k on the clock.

Yep its black on black...but what I found odd was that it doesnt have heated seats. Was this an option back in 94??

Heated seats were never standard on E34's. They were part of the Cold Weather Package which also included ASC on later cars (LSD on earlier cars).

I wonder if mine has a LSD hmm..gota check that out. Is it easy to swap in a set of heated seats??..where do I run the wires to??

My '91 has both. Check your tag on the differential.

They phased out LSD's so I doubt yours has one.

Adding heated seats is plug and play, the wires are already there. Just find a good set of seats.

Very nice buy. I have heated seats in my black/black 93..and I put them to good use this winter in NYC !

E34 somehow make it through moderate snow but the E36..Forget about it..that thing left me stranded so many times this winter..and plus I have a V8 hehhe
