Best/decently loud exhaust Exhaust?

Whats a good exhaust, thats not too loud but nice when you step on it? currently have an AA Gen III ehaust

The answer to your question its a UUC system U, its pretty loud.

There is no "answer," it's 100% personal preference. Just search for previous topics and look for exhaust sound clips.

I have a Rogue Engineering. It's really mellow but lights up in higher RPM. Definately recommend.

Or try Eisenmann Race exhaust system with AA track pipe. Talk about LOUD now. :)

Stromung and Rogue Engg. are both pretty livable for a DD car, livelier when you step on it and get a tad bit loud after a long highway trip. UUC system U is one of the loudest ones out there.

Personally I stay away from any UUC product.

I haven't heard many aftermarket exhausts on E36 M3s, but I'm loving the way my Dinan exhaust sounds.

Go spend some time on youtube and decide for yourself. Just about anything you buy will save you some weight and power gains aren't much to begin with and they all seem to be equal no matter what you buy. So the only real factor is sound preference.

I have the UUC System U and I love it. Quiet at idle, decently loud midrange, and really opens up under WOT. Definitely the best exhaust for the money IMO.

the rogue isn't that bad and at WOT it's like no other, at the BMWCCA meets my brother and I got alot of wide eyed people asking about it, on the highway however it can be a little dronny.

I picked up a Borla (first gen I think) for my car. Drove it for the first time this weekend.

Call me a puss, but I don't think I'd want anything louder. It's just about right. I only paid 150, and that was worth the 20lbs and free flow in itself.

My AA Race Exhaust (the 3" one they sell) is probably the loudest i've heard for these cars and imo the best sounding. And Ive had a few and heard them all. Im SC'd and also have Schricks. The video below the car is supercharged but I don't know what else he had the time those videos were taken. Hope he doesn't mind me using the vids.
