Hello. This is my first post in the 5-series forum. Thanks in advance for your input on this vehicle:
I am interested in this particular 1995 525i Olympic version with approx. 85000 miles on it. The interior and exterior look great and definitly within bounds for the mileage and age.
Does anybody know of the Special "Olympic" Games version?? IS this a nice thing for it to be rare, or is it just another trim option?
The car is for sale for $9888.88, is this a decent price to begin negotiations?
Thanks for your time!!!

I looked at one a couple of years ago. The only difference is cosmetic. They're all green with tan interior. The seats have green piping, and there is some Olympic torch logo's on the dash and door sills. And the one I looked at had some different wheels too.
Personally, I don't like green, and I've never been a fan of "special edition" cars. If I bought it, I would have removed the logos and you really wouldn't have known the difference. Mechanically they are the same as any other e34 525.
The asking price is a little high, but if it's a clean car with good maintenance history, $9K would be my limit.
Good Luck!

Well I love Green with tan and you already know I liked the wheels on the car. The price may be a tad high, but I bit the bullit for my car and bought it anyway. My car was in Mint condition and everybody that has seen it agrees. If the car is in such good condition and you like it, go for it, I did and I was not dissapointed :)
