I had a quick question. Are the $49.99-$59.99 fuel injection cleaning that u get at an automotive shop any good? Is it safe to run our cars in them. I was curious to know if any members here ever get their fuel injection system cleaned out and if u notice any difference. And if its safe for our bmw's. I have an E36 98 323IS. And a coupon came in the mail for goodyears up the street to have the fuel injection cleaned for $49. Didnt know if it wouldnt do jack shit for my car or not.

bump- i think they would be ok cause most cars use the same injectors (bosch) read this months hot rod magazine, it talks about injector servicing in depth

doesnt really matter which brand they all do pretty much the same thing...run a bottle through at every oil change if you want it wont hurt

they also have motor oil additive which cleans out the gunk and buildup

then theres throttle body cleaner which cleans the carbon buildup, and an intake cleaner where you put a vacuum line in the car and let it suck it into the intake manifold and it cleans the cylinder walls...
