I am just copying and pasting from my thread in R&S.:embarrasm

I have decided to freshen up the Type 1's, so I sat down and took them apart today. This was my first attempt ever and I have to say that It was a lot easier than I thought It would be. Turns out that the centers were mounted from the backside and I probably didn't even have to take the tires off....lol...oh well....I learned something new. Now that I have them apart I will have a chance to really get in there and polish them up nice.

I may be adding a color and size change as well.

I already put some of them in soap and water and it honestly got everything off. It's only been 2 years since the last refinish, so they were not that bad.:)
