I need help please.I am trying to make it work on vista 32 and on 09 335xi and 09 328xi and all I am getting is "vehicle not ready" or "adapter error".
If I choose the com3 port in setting,then I get message adpter no ready.When it's plugged in I can choose port 6,which says bmw EX6 scanner and then I get either of the 2 above mentioned messages.Is it possible,that his scanner will not work with those 09 vehicles?

I think your car is CAN-BUS; you should use the diagnostic tool that supports new CAN-BUS system. :redspot

I have tested it on MINI cooper 2008, working perfect on all control modules.

PA Soft/BMW Scanner v1.40 is for cars up to approx 2001, v 2.0.1 is for E60's up to 2006. For cars after that you need v2.2.0
