Trade or not to trade...

Just picked up an e39 with the Sport Package and BBS "Style 5" wheels.

Well there's an older guy from a local church that drives an e34 with 18x8.5 e13 AC Schnitzer Type II wheels. He's only around on Saturday mornings when he attends mass. I've been thinking about approaching him to see if he would be willing to trade his ACS wheels for my Style 5's. The condition of the Style 5s are 9.5/10 (Wheels and Tires are 95%). The condition of the ACS wheels are about 7/10 (Wheels and Tires seem fairly worn).

I'm sure he's not really aware of their value because he's an older hispanic gentleman. I'm thinking he would take the trade if I offered it. My question is do you guys think it's worth it???

Update 1/15:
Tried getting in touch with the owner of the car but he seemed to be busy. I guess I'll have to wait till next Saturday 1/22.

Just traded today :alright

So I finally approached him yesterday after mass was over. I simply asked him if he was willing to trade for my style 5s and he agreed without hesitation. Turns out he's owned quite a few older BMW's. (E28s and E34s)

It found out that he got these for $350 from some else who was parting out an e34 and didn't know there value.

So far I'm happy with the trade since these will just be my extra set of wheels. I'm not sure if I should leave them as is or polish them. They will be going on my silver e39. Pictures will be up soon!
