Hey I'm looking at some wheels on craigslist and was curious as to if these would fit on my 97 bmw m3. Here are the specs, and id be running 235/45 in the rear and 225/45 in the front
DIAM = 17"
WIDTH = 8.0
ET = 15
PCD = 5/120
BORE = 74
LIP = 2"
FWD OFF SET (have no idea what this is?)

they will fit but not with those tires lol unless you wanna rub like crazy lol
the offset is too low for those tires to fit

Alright thanks for the help i called a couple les schawbs and they said i should be good but guess not :D

Yes, you will have to put a skinny tire to fit them, or major fender work.
Also, that center bore is too large, you will need Hub-centric rings.
I thought FWD offset meant it was a higher offset, maybe it just means positive offset?
Aren't all cars that use 5x120 RWD? I can't think of any FWD 5x120 cars.

The center bore can be fixed with some hub rings off ebay 15$ shipped. Sounds like the guy selling the wheels doesnt know much about them.....

Yah its a woman lol. I found some decent tires for 60 so thats why i was seriously considering those wheels but the tires would be to big and i would rub into rubbing issues so im passin on em and looking for something diff. They were originally for a 528i
