That is awesome, 540i/6 price for an M5... it does look clean.

If it had an Alpine white exterior I would be very tempted to trade my 540i for it. No more black cars for me.

The price is almost "too good to be true".

If you check the seller's feedback you'll notice people leaving comments like "BASIC THIEVING CAR DEALER, MISREPRESENTED, JUST BS FROM SELLER".

i like how he states that the car needs a good buff... in my experience with paint and body work and dealers, I would think that the dealer would buff the car and sell it as a pristine a perfect paint job, because buffing is virtually free to the dealer, the paint is probably too far gone and can't be buffed, other then that the car looks in good shape with the exception of hideous wheels, but looks can be deceiving

i bet it is a wreck... or a combo car. or both.

How is the suspension? Looks awfully low in the back?

He's probably trying to flog it of as a private person not having to take any responsibility for any warranties and whatnot...

hmmmmmmm...cheap? or will it get expensive once you buy it? I can tell you right now it does need a sunroof motor trim piece because its missing it.

There is no cheap M5 in my opinion. Anyone on a tight budget, like myself, is much better off with an 540.

This car has been on ebay forever and switched from dealer to dealer, this dealer is owned by a company with several different names and keeps listing it under a different dealership name to keep the car "fresh" looking. It supposedly sold a few times and the deal's fell through and the price has come down from $7995 to where it is now. On another forum (can't remember which one right now) someone in the area went to check it out and reported that the car was a mess and the dealership was a scammer.

if it's too good to be true it usually is. its a 3.6 not a 3.8.

Am I the only one who saw AIR BAG LIGHT STAYS ON. Sounds choppy... as in chop shop special salvage deal

Also notice they took pictures of the sunroof but hedged at the door panels.
