Just as the title states...was bleeding the clutch for the first time and the slave cylinder popped. Now is the whole clutch assembly and flywheel ruined? Obviously the slave cylinder needs to be replaced but what else does? Havn't done anything yet but take the popped slave out.
And on a side note...does the 1995 have neutral safety switch on the pedal assembly?
Thanks in advance guys..

Replace the slave and you should be OK. If any fluid got on the clutch it will burn off... no worries. You'll know if its going to be an issue the first time you drive it.
No clutch safety switch in 95.

Advice above it spot on. I just changed my slave cylinder last month (because it broke). While I was there I noticed the master cylinder looked like is was on its way out so I figured what the hell? Swapped that too while I was there. So maybe as preventative put a new master in.

Doing the master as well will save you the effort and time down the road, Also I like replacing both because it guarantees a crisp clutch pedal :)

what they said^^
and no neutral safety switch on 95's.
also, be carefull tightening your new slave on. I broke the studs by overtorquing...they have a low torque spec. They're a pain to replace btw, lol.

what does pop mean?
went bad or shat its guts into the bellhousing?

Popped means it shat its guts into the bellhousing..not guts but fluid..the black rubber boot burst. I heard it pop and seconds later brake fluid was dripping out the bottom of the drain on the bell housing and alittle between where the housing meets the oil pan, I took the slave cylinder out and the rubber boot had a tear right down the side....now my question is, would the clutch fork/throw out bearing like basically block this fluid from covering the clutch disk, flywheel, etc? The cars just on 4 jackstands right now and was in no mood to take the transmission off lastnight to see what did and didn't get covered...and the new master slave wont be in till tomorrow so if the clutch did get soaked it will be stagnent for acouple days until the new one is in...I'm just curious and kinda hoping that I can just put a new slave and it will be solid..or if its looking more like I'm going to have to replace clutch parts..

did any physical parts spew into the bell housing?
if it's just fluid you will probably be ok but may have some slippage. really hard to say.
