Hello,
I am new to this site and a new owner of a 1992 BMW 525i. I had a very bad oil leak at the oil filter housing at the back by the pressure sending unit.... I was looking all over the internet trying to find info on the leak.... it was from a cap or plug. I came across the DIY post by RUSSIANKID..... YOU ARE THE MAN!! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!!!
I got the dorman "o" rings ....... I was able to do it without removing the filter canister housing.....using 90 degree pick to get the snap ring out and cap off.....got it done in about 20 min.

This is a great site !!

Thank You
Ezra

I've also read through the DIY regarding the oil leak. I just need to get my car up in the air one of these days to check if this is the case for me, too.

I sure hope it is, as this seems easy as hell. But..., knowing my luck, it will be something else, for sure. :rolleyes

And welcome on board, OP.
