Was having truble getign the stereo codes but magically Desert bmw of las vegas and Desert Bmw of Henderson* In las Vegas* theirs a diffren't... So don't call the bmw dealership in Henderson call desert bmw of las vegas they gave me the code no problem.

My dealer wanted to charge me $75 to look up the code. I heard some will do it free if the parts guy doesn't know or care to charge you. I bought an after market one instead. Much better sound. Just try to buy one that matches the interior. I found out that a black radio with orange/ red color readout is kind of hard to find....but I found one with Ipod, HD, CD and all that new stuff on it. Buy a E36 to aftermarket radio wires adapter on ebay to make installation easier.
