Hey bimmerforums,

I have an issue with my right rear tailight. My car is a 92 325is. All the other lights in the front and back work it just seems to be the right rear. When the headlights are on and I have my right turn signal up, it doesn't flash in the rear, instead the whole brake light flashes and acts like my right flasher. I have done some research and looked up a few things but I am not sure. Is it a bad relay?? or is it possible that my turn signal light and brake llight bulb have been switched? does this make any sense? Also after testing without the headlights or fogs on, when I signal for a right turn the front flasher just lights up and doesn't flash and it makes a weird buzzing-hummingg sound... and the nothing flashes whatsoever on the right side. The left side front and rear are fine... What is the issue?!?! :help Please. I would really appreciate. Thank you all kindly

Check the wiring in the trunk, its a big bundle of wires that branch out, could be a frayed wire or something causing cross conductivity

I checked that... I disconnected the 7 wire socket plug from both the right rear side and the left to compare... I noticed that 2 of the silver cylindrical connectors were missing from the right side and 1 was missing from the left... could this be it? why would the left side work and the right not?
