Disabling the TPM System

Does anyone know how to disable the TPM system? My batteries in the rims are starting to go and the constant resetting is getting annoying. So much for having a 5 year life like their supposed to...

I doubt you can disable it. Given that is mandated by law in the US, I would assume the car companies (and BMW in particular) would go to great length to prevent you from defeating the system and disabling the warning light. It is their way out in case of a Firestone-like lawsuit.
