The Miller car is pretty nice -- it's done right. Snailsnail (sp lol) appears to have done his right as well. As far as "stock" cars go, I do like the Alpina cars and some of the M5s. M5T's especially.

Jhennig's two cars, the black one before it got in the accident was probably the cleanest e34 I've ever been in, and his new white one he says is even cleaner and the pics sure look it.

Jesse James' car is awesome.

Tortexal had an awesome e34, I don't know if he still has it or not, but it was purty.

My530wagon has a gorgeous touring.

Gotta love Jon's car and Justin's car too, obviously, just for the mods and powah.

the silver car is clean in pictures. Pictures plus it being silver hide alot of paint flaws. and its cloth so thats a ton of win.

His car is actually a 525iT with just about all M5 aesthetic mods. What broke the camel's back was the fact that he claimed to have a S38 swap in it but never posted pics, so everyone got on his case and I'm pretty sure he no longer posts here...

Shame because it looked nice, sans the lying owner and grotesque blue angel eyes.

Between cars I've seen in person, Motatti has a super sweet Alpine M5 and Weksos has his amazing black ACS E34.

:dunno I've always used the front subframe for jacking. It definitely won't move. The engine is directly on top of them. I like it better than using the front unibody rails, because it makes a fulcrum with all of the weight hanging over the jacks.

The M stands for manual transmission and I have to run spacers because my tires would be rubbing on the lower spring mounts if I didn't. As for my Chinese coilovers, they are nice and didn't hit up my wallet too bad. The only real difference are the struts and I have seen guys have Billy's and Koni's fail just as easily. Lots of guys here are running the NEX coils and are very happy with them. I am not into trying to bash people on forums, but I still think it was weird to post pictures of your own car in this thread.

Doesn't matter what motor, too. But having to do what nobody else does by sticking a v12 into an E34 and a ridiculously huge turbo on top that is has to be one of the nicest.
I think nicest as in overall quality, detail and care of the builds would be Jon's car. (SmallSnails)

Thanks for all the kind words guys - I know my car isn't for everyone. Things like the radio and stock seats or m5 seats could have been retained but I was going for that stripped down but refined look. I know its not the most powerful E34 out there but my 685 rwhp pull was on pump gas and water/meth so thats impressive (to me at least!) with only a 2.8L motor!

B10 BT has been my ultimate realistic dreamcar since 1990, when i read in a car magazine about this car and i was so stunned by the performance this 4 door car could do,, that i was constantly thinking about it ,, and one day in 2007 i got a tips about a FERRARI-Yellow BT.. and i bought it next day.. and the color was the main reason :alright

Especially the color is something special and inspired me to have my 850 repainted in exactly the same FERRARI Giallo 102.

My car definitely needs a paint job before it can jump to the top of the list, but I'm glad it was mentioned. Only so much you can do with polishing a 22 year old car before you go thru the paint and have mismatched panels. It also needs new front seats. Im working on getting matching Zender side skirts.

Well it certainly wouldn't hurt. He tracks the hell out of that car. Maybe you would know that if you had been on here longer. I actually like the vents on the hellrot car. And it's called personal preference. Which is why all our cars don't look the same. Redfive's car is sick. And is pretty legendary on the forum.

The louvers are there to reduce underhood temps, a lot of it for intercooler heat soak.

B, that 10psi 340hp is the old motor, last year it got a rebuild and should be good for more HaHas once tuned. IIRC it just put down 275 at 6 or 7psi.

They help with two things. One is the heat removal. A lot of heat builds up under there (even though everything is ceramic coated on the hot side) and the water to air intercooler can get heat soaked.
Two, when you install a splitter and a flat bottom under the engine, the air needs a place to go. By directing the up thru the hood, the under side of the car becomes a low pressure zone and the top side a high pressure zone (opposite of an airfoil) and that helps produce down force. They're probably not big enough to actually produce downforce on my car but it certainly helps eliminate lift.

Your car has always been a favorite of mine.

You've gotta love the magic of good photography and photoshop. You can hide the chips and dents so much better than in real life.

I wet sanded the pin stripe off my car a couple years ago and then polished the crap out of it. I burned thru the paint in several locations, so that was the last time that was done. It just has to make it thru the One Lap in the spring, then I'll turn my attention to the body. Fix the dents, rust, mis-matched panels and body trim. Then she'll be good for another 20 years.

My car definitely needs a paint job before it can jump to the top of the list, but I'm glad it was mentioned. Only so much you can do with polishing a 22 year old car before you go thru the paint and have mismatched panels. It also needs new front seats. Im working on getting matching Zender side skirts.

I never knew that very cool, she is doing very good serving her purpose as a reliable dd. Found some rust under the side skirts, that will be removed this spring and a coolant flush is in the works. Oh and in dire need of control arms and sway bar bushing which will be done next week :D

The black carpet was a bit of a PITA. I did it when it was like 100F outside so picture being in an E34 w/ a respirator and 100F - terrible. But much much much better looking than the beigey/tan/shopping bag color.

Nah, he's talking about cleaning up pics of his own car. It will greatly benefit from a new coat or two. It's hardly fugly at 10 feet, but it does have things that need to be cleaned up. Redfive repaint? Yesplz!

The application asked me to upload a 2D scannable image that appeals to me, so I immediately thought of that picture. The nicest part of this engine bay is obviously the factory cover on the aux. water pump. You don't see those every day, for sure.

Oh, and Jon, clean up those water spots on the fusebox cover! Geez.

It's actually, the opposite. The purpose of the thread was to basically compliment those E34's on the board many of us like. NOT TO POST PICTURES OF YOUR OWN. Posting pictures of your own is basically, saying "I HAVE THE NICEST E34." Yes, I know we all love our cars, but many look at others for inspiration.

Wow....that should be a ton of fun. I was just driving a 650hp Bi-turbo V12-AMG Benz over the weekend......much more smooth and usable power than I thought it would be for sure !!

I was the lucky guy who purchased Blutarsky's M5. I have spent a few dollars since I have purchased it. But that ole girl only has interior appeal. Id say top 25 would be a HUGE stretch with all of these gems on this forum. My car needs some new paint. couple of door dings need to be removed as well. Mechanically however, I think it is damn near perfect. That is where all of the money went. all OEM as well.




Not sure who owns it now but another one not mentioned was Blutarsky's old M5 with the motorsport cloth leather bolster interior.

When did you switch to the E39 M5 wheels? I had a set of those on my first E34 a few years back. Besides the M pars they are one of the best OEM options because of the staggered sizes.
