Passenger windshield wiper stopped working

I was driving today with the wipers on(heavy rainfall) and my girlfreind noticed the passenger one stopped working

The drivers one functions normally and it feels like the passenger side one has no resistance from a motor or any sort of linkage.

I looked in the bently for some images on how the motor\linkage system works but it doesn't show anything useful.

Does anyone have any pictures of the linkage system or whatnot? I figure the only way to figure this whole thing out is to take it all apart, and inspect.

pull the cover off and tighten up the 13 mm bolt. It is a taper shaft

I assume you mean on the wiper linkage? From readingthe bently I guess you need to remove the blower panel and blower motor on the firewall to access the linkage. Hopefuly whatever is wrong is blatantly apparent.

Layton is referring to the nut at the base of the wiper arm (under the cap); if it loosens up the arm won't turn.

If it's not that; something is wrong with your linkage. It happened to me actually and replacing the linkage is doable but a PITA!
