I was wondering if anyone has ever painted the wood trim in the interior any other color.Im primarily looking for black to get an idea of what it would look like.But any other color will do im just trying to get a feel for what it wolud look like.So please post some pics if you got em.THANKS A BUNCH

ive thought of doing silver like e39+ but think it would only look good with full black interior

I've painted my wooden trim cosmosschwarz, looks way better then the "wood" imo :) I'll snap some pictures when I get home
Very bad quality but you get the idea

Actually I really like it.Did you have to use any thinner to get the gloss finish off so the paint would adhere?

^^^its actually not that hard to wrap the plastic pieces in carbon fiber.

That interior has so much want in it. Cloth sport seats, CF trim (looks incredible with the gray interior), sport wheel...

the CF trim kit is still showing available on Realoem, but only in kit form, the individual pieces show NLA, quick check of the part number at getbmwparts.com shows the kit still available at $732.00.

Ouch. Yeah, that's a no-go on my budget. Besides, my interior is parchment. But it looks nice! :thumbup:

DAYUM!!! That's not really worth it.
I like wood trim, I would love to get the bird's eye maple. Is that still available, and if so does one need a second mortgage to be able to afford it?
