what do you think? The car is dropped on vogtland springs....i hope they settle a bit more, otherwise i need more low in the front for sure.

bigger tires + more low = winwinwin. This is the best I've seen 3 series wheels look on an e34.

i was considering this

I should've went with bigger tires but i was worried about clearance issues. I'm not sure i can go much bigger because of the front strut. I won't be able to experiment more until i burn these up, so we'll see in 50k miles. The only way for me to get lower is either cut the springs or go with coilover.....i guess i'll be ordering coilovers tonight.....lol

You don't have a shake problem with giant spacers like that?
Also, SamSon is on NEX coils.

Thank goodness you've decided to conserve character use, we were running low for a minute there.

remove some spring pads...maybe?

honestly removing the spring pads wont afford you that much more of a drop and will sound like ass with the metal on metal contact.

I can attest to this... it's heinous. I need to put mine back in.

+1. I actually had to redo my struts/springs build b/c I omitted the bump stops. Rattled like crazy. I did get new ones and cut about 75% of them off. I kept just enough to allow me to reassemble, and the front end sounds much better (quieter).

I like the style, but needs more lip. Not crazy lip, just more. 'Tis the reason why most high-offset 3-series wheels look "off" when fitted to E34s.

No kidding. We were down to our very last y's and o's. Could've been a major crisis before the next shipment.

It looks good bro and is very unique. Are those rims OEM BMW or actually manufactured by BBS for BMW? They kind of look like BBS. My neighbor had those wheels on her 2010 328i in chrome and they looked good too.
The drop looks fine, no need to go lower in my opinion. If you were to put a front lip spoiler like a Reiger or Volvo 740 lip it will look a lot lower. Just need to throw the center caps on and you're "rollin' hard"...Do you have plans for tint, plate delete or euro trim? I think those few mods would add a lot to your e34.

Black on black doesn't look good. .Perhaps gunmetal or a very dark grey/silvergrey?

looks awesome man. i was going to say lose the spring pads up front but i think a few others have touched on it. ive been running no pads for almost a year and its been just fine, no funny noises. itll drop the front prob .25-.5"

Well the wheels don't have lip and there is no way for my to grow one one there. I don't think they look "off" at all.

Thanks! i am thinking gunmetal, or that shadow chrome on the e39 m5 wheels.

They are e90 328 sport rims. Made by BBS but they are OEM BMW.
The center caps are on they're way already. I plan on tint in the next few weeks, either a front plate delete or euro plate and i do plan on euro trim. I am deciding what to do with the front lip. either a volvo or find an mtec bumper.

gunmetal was my thinking.

i just don't want the noise lol. plus the metal/metal will wear faster and prob ruin my strut housing after a while.

I'd also love to see how sunk they do/don't look... My e90 wheels looked sunk as f**k, but I also wasn't running spacers because of the shake I got.
I'll repeat... more photoz preeze!!
