I live in Iowa and its cold, but this morning my instrument cluster and heater controls stopped working. I could not turn on my defroster. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Agreed, check the fuses. Also might be time to replace the fusible link if you have temperature-sensitive intermittent issues like this.

Thanks,
I will definitely check the fuses and where is the fusible link? I havent recieved my repair manual yet.
OK, so I found where the 2 fuseable links should be and they are removed and just jumped. I am assuming thats not good. Just more of the rigging I have found on this car. So I will replace them both and see what happens. So with that said, my Heat/AC controls and dash controls are very sporatic any other ideas?:help

OK, So I removed "the sword" aka the final stage resistor and cleaned the electrical connections and now it works. Guess it just needed a little TLC. :redspot
