New car (non-E34 content)

So I finally caved and got rid of the E36 - can't begin to tell you what a bad call it was picking that thing up in the first place, but I digress...

E34 is getting pretty long in the tooth so I decided to pick up something efficient for the 50mile roundtrip commute to work. Ended up with a 2011 Ford Fiesta S. I'm actually very impressed with it, tight build quality, punchy engine, more than enough zip to get around town.

I plan on hanging on to the E34 until something expensive breaks. After that I'll be looking for a non-M20 powered E34. :shifty

I'll hopefully get some pics up if the snow stops...

Nice, is it the hatch? I love the looks of the 5 door hatch.

Unfortunately ended up with the sedan. I really prefered the look of the 5-door, but finding a base model was next to impossible. I was going for as basic as I could find. All of the 5-doors in the area were either loaded or automatics. I couldn't justify the additional $1500-$2000 for the 5-door just for the looks. I also don't know that I would trust the dual-clutch auto they're putting in them, I'll stick to the 5-spd.

Ford's really kicking it up a notch on quality and styling of their cars/trucks. Good luck with the new car!
