Fuel Guage not working

Just curious if anyone has any ideas on what could be the problem?
The odometer is very dim as well.

The E34 that I am about to recieve also has this problem, I have heard of the gas gauge not reading right but is there any help on the gas gauge not working at all?

Any help would be appreciated.

Had this problem. Easies solution is to just buy a used instrument cluster and swap the pcb.

What does the OBC say for your remaining fuel? Does it match the gauge? If it says anything but zero (or close to it) that would mean the sender is good and the gauge is not getting the signal.
