Hello to all. Name is Chris from up here in the great white north! After many years, finally decided to pull the trigger and treat myself to my first BMW after seeing it on the lot. Long story short - wife picked up her new car and noticed a lonely alpine white 2010 335i coupe sitting on the lot. Older gentleman bought it and decided it was too much car after having it for 6 months, so basically brand new with 9K on it. Needless to say after the first test drive, it was love. Specs as follows:
335i Coupe, Executive Package, M
Sport Package , Dakota Leather,
6-Speed Automatic Transmission w/ M
Steptronic Paddles, Brushed Aluminium
Trim, 19 alloys, BMW Assist, 4 wheel
Stability control, M Sport Steering
Wheel, Sirius Radio, Heated Seats,
Moonroof, Bi-Xenon Lights.
Looking forward to getting to know many of you and sharing stories...now off to look for winter tires! Any suggestions? Can I drop down to 17's?

Congratulations man. I know the moderator for this board mryakan lives in Canada. I'm sure he can help you out on all your winter related questions.
Now go have some fun and tell us how it drives. Those turbos sound like a choir of angels :buttrock

Congrats. Head on to the tire section for all your tire questions, but in short, yeah 225/45/17 would work great for you. Tirerack.com has a nice configurator to check sizes for your car.

picking her up tomorrow...and then straight to the tire shop. Just got a blizzard here in southern ontario, so will be lucky to get it there from the dealer in this weather. Decided to go with the 17's to make the driving a bit easier...will be sure to post pics when she finally makes it home.

A "spirited" older gentleman to have purchased all those M-Sport options and then upgraded to 19" wheels!
We'd love some pics when you can. Enjoy!

Picking it up in an hour...can barely sit still. Will post some pics tomorrow when she's sitting in my driveway. Yah, not sure why he went with all the performance options and then decided to go to a different way so quickly. His loss, my BIG gain.
hi guys - new to the forum, so not sure how to post pics. Picked it up last night and took it for a spin. Whoever it was that said "that engine will sound like a choir of angels" was NOT kidding. Wanted to sleep in there last night!

He probably couldn't hack the sport suspension at his age....some of us older folks need a little bit of cushioning these days....ha ha. I discovered that myself, unfortunately, as I fell in love with the coupe styling but had to replace it with a sedan with just the premium package. Granted, it's still a beauty, but I wanted the darn angel-eye daytime running lights and they only came on the coupe! (At the time...not sure about nowadays.)
The engine sound...ahhhh...makes me happy every time I start the car.

9K in 6months Man he drove that car. Would have expected more like 2k
I traded a 2010 lexus Rx on my 2010 335. It had 1,200 miles in over 6 months.
I just didn't want a SUV anymore. Told the salemans seldom drove it, he
didn't believe till brought it in for the trade.

he was a commuter, so drove a lot of highway miles. decided it was a bit too much car for him and hated getting in and out of it. He traded it in for a c class mercedes...went the 4 door route. His loss...my gain for the price. And in Canada, it's 9K in kilometers, which translates to to about 5500 miles...so about right.
