I have a quick question that I couldn't find the answer to on the wheel and tire fitment guide or through the search function. I'm running 19x10 wheels with 255/35 tires on rear of my e36 and they have some scraping issues on the fender. My question is should this setup work if the offset is right or do I just have to go narrower if I want to run 19s without rolling the fenders. I didn't install the wheels so I don't know if the offset is right or not.
I'm looking at 18x9 rear and 18x8 in front staggered setup with TSW Vortexs if I get other wheels. Any thoughts. Thanks

35 series is the highest profile tire you can run in 19's to have any chance of not rubbing. With 55's on there I'm surprised you can even drive the car......

Woops, transposed the numbers there. What they really are is 255/35.
Thanks for the pdf chart, that tells me what I need to know. According to the chart 19x9 is the widest I can go without scraping but I don't know how nice that width would look on a 19" wheel. Oh well, I gues I'll just have to overcome my vanity and get some good looking 18s.

Yes the "et" is just a term for the offset.

The number is the measurement in MM usually.
