anyone have a e39 with 19x9.5's in the back with an offset of 28mm. im not sure if they fit so im looking for pics or a simple yes or no to fitment.
thanks :help
I think it will hit the strut, et15 with a 9.5" wheel works and looks great on an e39

that was my thought it might just make it or its going to just barely rub. how about 19x9.5 with et 17.
my last option of 19x8.5 et12 is available.

I think the 28mm offset will fit with the 9.5" width rears.
The 17mm should fit also, though may get close to the fender lip and if using 275/30 tires
Make sure your wheels are the E39 specific 74.1mm center bore

thanks,
i called lawheel and they suggested 15-25 mm offset. they told me the 28mm wouldnt fit but im thinking the 28 will fit with a little fender roll.. should give a mean look from the back.

The potential problem with the 28mm offset on a 9.5" wheel will be your inside clearance to the shock or spring, not the outside clearance to the fender lip. A higher numerical offset figure means moving the wheel closer to the inside of the car.
What the wheel place said re: 15-25mm sounds OK for a 9.5" wheel on the rears. Personally I'd like to see 20-25mm to stay clear of the fender lip, especially if the car is or will be lowered

okay, thanks for the info. i appreciate it. not just to find the wheel. i am trying to find black csl's. i see them with the 22 offset. maybe this is a better choice. any one know where to find them in a 19"?
thanks
