View Full Version : Thoughts on wheel spacers for stock 18's?

Just looking at the wheels I dig the factory 18's that came with the car but I wish that offset was a little more aggressive. I've been thinking about just grabbing some Eibach wheel spacers to push the rear ones out a bit. I'm not sold on any one brand over the next so any input is appreciated.
With that said, are there any suggested thicknesses, brands, etc...to look for from someone who might have been down this road before?
Thanks,
Jesse

spacers are spacers. there are different kinds, slide on, and bolt on. if you wanna change your offset by like 3mm then go slide on, but if your wanting like 10mm go bolt on. H&R makes good ones. any large brand you cant really go wrong with. do some research and find out what offset those wheels are, then find out what offset your looking for. then the difference between the two is what size spacer you need.

I got 12mm H/R. Looks just flush. Definetly get some spacers.

I recommend H&R. I have used their spacers and hubcentric adapters. They have been of the highest quality and fitment. They aren't cheap nor inexpensive, they are one of the best.... Check out ECS Tuning.
As for the size, I am not sure. I am new to Bimmers.... Hope this helps!

They are great spacers, I've used them on my VW. Now I think I will use them on the Bimmer. Hard part is finding black lug bolts rather than the chrome ones that they usually come with.

Guys I dont mean to thread jack.. but been searching for opinions...
I've got an 09 e90 Lci just like the OP.
I want to go as wide as possible without them poking out.
I'm leaning towards 10mm up front and something like 12.5 or 15 in the rear.
Can anyone comment on this setup for a post Lci car?
Theres plenty of info/suggestions for pre LCI... but apparently the track is different on the two versions of the e90...

I have guys running everything from 10mm to 20mm on their stock wheels. What size spacer really is going to depend on your style. To help you figure out what size spacers you want to run we made a little video which should help you out. I've embedded it below. Once you take the measurements as shown in the video you can grab your new spacers with confidence that the'll achieve the look you desire. HERE (http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/www.ecstuning.com/BMW-E90-335i-N54_3.0l/Wheels/Spacers/?salesrep=JRiggsbee&utm_source=bimmerforums&utm_medium=forum&utm_content=JRiggsbee&utm_campaign=postreply) is a link to my spacers for the E90.
