I have a question as to whether you use your voice commands in your BMW. I do not really get the point. I thought that maybe the technology would have progressed from my 2007 525xi to my 2011 760Li, but I really do not see a point. Anyone have issues with this or do you not bother messing with it? On a side note, does the Chevy Cruz really handle better around corners than a 328i or was the driver drunk when he was testing out the BMW? LOL

Voice command saves idrive steps and lets you keep your eye more on the road instead of the screen.

My BMW doesn't understand me. Neither does my wife.

I do not in fact I do not even remember to use it and I paid for that too?? It's a good interface but hardly useful. When and how often do you guys use it?

Yes, but only to people and dogs, and only because pushing their buttons is a more involved process.

The voice command in my 2001 e38 does work very well, it is just useless to me. Basically it can control the useless 2001 navigation system, and the missing built in cell phone. :( It understands me perfectly though.

Sometimes I'll use it to dial phone numbers and it works like a charm.

I always forget about voice commands, but when I remember I realize how neat they are.
