theres a little lag between when i push the pedal down and when my car actually starts moving. i want my car to be more responsive. what can i do to make it more responsive? do those plug and play things work?

If you have an auto transmission, put it into sport mode.

DS or manual should both work better (at the expense of fuel economy of course).

oh okay. has anyone tried the sprint booster? ive heard a lot of good things about it.

The Sprint Booster doesn't "boost" anything. It adds no HP and no torque, but rather just makes the gas pedal more sensitive to your inputs. So it makes depressing the gas pedal by, say, 1 inch feel like you've pressed it 2 inches. In other words, you get the same effect by simply pressing the gas pedal yourself that extra inch. It's a waste of money.

He wants it to respond a little faster, if im not wrong.
And the Sprint Booster helps if he wants it to accelerate when he floors the pedal. I'd say, give it a go. I really want one too, but there's other things I got to fix on my E92 atm..

Thats exactly what i wanted to know. Im getting the aa performance software to boost 15 hp and i thought the sprint booster would work very well with that

yeah ive seen that. can you use all 3? ive heard somewhere that the powerbox and the sprint booster just cancel each other out.

it says its a piggyback performance chip. so im guessing that means you can use it with the aa software and and sprint booster. that would be so nice if it does

I wholeheartedly disagree that it's a waste of money. I've got a 2007 335i 6 speed. When I turned a corner before the Sprint Booster the lag between depressing the accelerator and the response to that depressing was measured in seconds ! With the Sprint Booster it's almost immediate response. It makes these electronic accelerators act almost as though they were connected to throttle on the engine with a cable. It's best $300 I've ever spent.

I think the point that ol' Chip was making, though, is that if you had simply pressed the accelerator pedal down an extra inch when you were going around that corner, then you'd have gotten the same result as you do now.
Not that you can't be perfectly happy with your purchase, but just that there is a way to get around spending the money.
