Hey guys, it's finally the best time to get your ECU for OBDII BMWs. I can get a really good price for you guys. You will have to send your ECU in to AA to get it programmed, though. But I've done all the research and AA is the best one to get. Increased power throughout the entire range, plus, increased rev limiter. The price I can get depends on the amount of people I have for this group buy. I'm tired of all the OBDI guys getting awesome deals on chipping. It's our turn, fellas. Let me know how many people are interested, and I can get an awesome deal going...gauranteed. List price is around $399. Plus, if any of you can get a lower price, let me know. I'm just trying to get a bench mark so that I can haggle the price down.

Well, first of all, I'll let you know that the AA price is only gonna be $320 with shipping back from AA to you. You'll have to ship it to AA at your own expense. Second, I've been talking to tons of people about this for almost a year. I've wanted to do something about the software in my car, but I don't want to spend money up to $400 on something which wasn't gonna make a difference. Several people whom I've talked to with both the Dinan and the Shark Injector. I've had some people say that they felt a significant increase in power, and some said that felt nothing at all, while a few even felt that they didn't like it. Everyone I've talked to who had the AA software upgrade has told me that they noticed a definite increase. Their increase could be felt all throughout the rpm range; especially down low. It seems that other software increases are only noticed up in the high band. Otherwise, AA is the most aggressive tuner out here in America. If you want more proof, take a look at the last few European Car magazine articles. Especially what they say about the software tuning. Third, I have an AA Exhaust and AA (ECIS) intake. The chip will be the perfect match.

in about a month when I store the car for the winter. You can see on this page the JC chip going for $339, so if you beat that it would be great. Remember there is a huge markup on this stuff you are paying for the software programming so be firm with the dude, even 5 people represents a large profit.

$320 is better than $339. But that's not the thing. So far, $320 is the best thing I can do. But I'll try to get it even lower. The thing is the difference between the performance from the JC chip compared to the AA chip. I'm not gonna go into it myself because I've made my decision. Just look at the archives or just post a question on the boards. Ask the people who has done the JC chip if they feel an adequate difference for the money they paid. Then do the same for the AA chip. Just go on what the general enthusiast says. But I've done enough research to say that I'm only gonna go AA. But I do have to admit that your car doesn't have any downtime with the JC, but are you worried about the convienence or the performance. All you have to pay for additional is the shipping to AA and I'll take care of the shipping back to you.

There is another thing to consider for all you E46 guys. If you notice, the pricing on OBDII for E46 is considerably higher. So, I'll have to check on your pricing and get back to you. Remember, guys, you'll get faster service if you e-mail me directly. Check out the prices at AA for yourselves. I'm not sure why they did it that way, but I'll research it for you.
