BMW 335 xDrive places in the top 10 with some other pretty highline equipment.

A 335xi sure would make one expensive winter beater, lol. But that's pretty awesome.

you'd be surprised. a w107 chassis 380SL with a set of hakkapeliitta 2s makes for an unbelievably fun winter car. and if i had the cash, i'd definitely take an R8 v10 to my ski mountain of choice. :buttrock
a dropped top + snow + rwd (or awd) + studded snow tires = win.

Just lower it an inch or two, and you've got a great snowplow.

What a waste of money for a snow car...especially since AWD is SOOOOOOOOO necessary! :confused

Wouldn't drive half of those cars if given to me for free. That list is a joke, especially the R8 Spyder, try a 1995 Audi 80 instead.

Automobile magazine's R8 loaner. According to them, it's a tenacious winter driver.

So it's basically just a list of good cars that also happen to be AWD?

I think the reason it is left off is because the Subaru doesn't get all season tires stock. It comes equipped with summer tires, and you need to get a second set for winter.

Probably. I would imagine a WRX would do much better than the Forester because of its lower center of gravity.
