Hello all,

Relatively new owner here and needing some new tires for my 2006 325 Cic convertible.

If the inspection report that came with the car is correct, I have 17" wheels with Bridgestone tires on it currently. They are standard (non-run flat) tires.

Can anyone recommend some good mid-grade tires that perform well and are reasonably quiet on the road noise?

Any input much appreciated.

You actually have an E46, but no worries. I'm a Michelin whore - I'd go for Pilot Sport A/S, perhaps MXM4 if you want a little better rain tire.

Lots of people are recommending the Continental Extreme Contact DWS.

There is a tire forum you should be asking this in: http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=126

Hi Floyd,

Thanks for your reply. Are recommendations something you would suggest I buy online or can I get at a Discount Tire, etc.

As for placement, if the mods want to move this thread then please do.

I answered your second post. Take a look at the Hankook for the best bang for the buck. Let me know if I can help. Shipping time to you is normally one day and we have installers in your area.
If I can help let me know.
