Hey guys, just bought another car to add to the fleet. This one is actually going to replace the wife's current car (E46), since we are getting a new addition to the family, the extra room will be nice.
I was actually looking for an IL, but I stumbled on this one, made a good deal, and decided to take it home.
BTW, wife loves it :P . She drove mine for the first time a few days ago, so she was pretty happy when I mentioned this car as a surprise!
Sorry for the late night iPhone pics..

Plenty of stuff on the to-do-list, first off will be a nice detail, then a few minor things to touch up / fix.
This one I am going to try something different and raise the suspension about 12in, and fit some 26in wheels on it. This way it will make my IL wheels look small ;)
(Don't cry, just a joke LOL)
And for all the purists...the MPars will prob stay on there for a while...until the wife gets sick of them. I know, blasphemy right? Tee Hee ;)
But no, realistically, I might do the clear tails and corners like I did on mine, but nothing crazy since it's the wife's car. It will probably remain mostly stock for a while.
Thanks for looking :)

Is she going to be driving it?
Yes, this is replacing her E46...I'll put it up for sale soon, black on black manual 325i :)
She said she liked my car, we needed more space, and this one made sense to us, so we bought it

Thanks everyone, it's a 98...$3500
Everything works on the car, but I noticed the heater doesn't get hot....AC is ice cold, but heater doesn't warm up....im doing some research online now..
The driver power seat back only moves one half of the seat, but i have my extra seats at home that i should be able to tear apart, and use the good parts for this car.
And the roof is faded, but I'll probably paint it.
But everything else seems straight! These two things seemed minor to me, and I feel like I got a good deal on it...was only a few bucks more than my IL and this one is in better shape overall when I first purchased mine.

I definatelly mean it. I dream of buying a second E38 - a 2001 750i V12 - that will be only a weekend fun car. And drive my current 2001 730dA as an everyday car. Damn materiallistic world, damn ze germans for making such a car too :))))

I'm glad they did! :D
I'd like another E38, preferably a 740/750iL bagged on 22s. Just a crazy luxobarge VIP style. :buttrock

I figure one shorty for everyday stuff and one longy (if that's what it can be called, conversely) for comfort cruisin' in mad style.

Exactomundo ...but if I may add ... abit of a daydream but ... an L7 or a B12 would be awesome ofcourse to own

Ideally, yes. But I'd prefer a B12 shorty for serious speed and a VIP'd out B7 for cruisin' in style. :D
Har-har, in my dreams.
