I'm looking to put my 95 M3 E36 into long term storage and want a durable cover for it that will be gently on the paint. It will be sitting outside so it would be exposed to the sun and rain and snow. Thanks.

The Covercraft NOAH Car Cover is a great outdoor cover and it is very soft on gentle against the paint surface. The most durable Car Cover for outdoor weather is the Weathershield HD but it is not that soft on the inside of the cover.
