I have a 2008 E92 with sport suspension, I've made the decision to keep the run flats. I would like a little softer ride. Does anyone have a run flat recomendation? Thanks

Which brand and size are you currently running?

From the many posts i have read on that subject ,they all overwhelmingly suggest to dump the Bridgestone RFT,any other good quality RFT will be better.

They are the stock tires.

There really isn't anything that is going to give better ride qaulity. Bridgestone is suppose to be coming out with a tire sometime next year that will have better ride.

What size tires do you have? If you have 18s, going with 17 or 16 will give you a better ride usually due to the larger sidewall. I noticed it when I switched between my stock 16" and aftermarket 18" on my previous e90.

They are the stock tires.
I gathered that...but what IS the stock tire?
Could be a 205/55R16 bridgestone or continental...or a 225/45R17 bridgestone or continental...or a 225/45R17 up front with a 255/40R17 on the rear...either bridgestone or pirelli, or a 225/40R18 up front with a 255/35R18 in the rear...bridgestone

No such thing yet as a good riding RFT!!! Run'm firm they are bricks, run'm soft and steering feels dead, you can't win. My favorite time every season is when I put on my snows wich are non-RFT's.

I looked and the crappy Bridgestone is the only run flat I found (18" wheel).
My run flats are gone soon!

Weedy,
What sizes are you looking for. I have a number of run flat options in the 225/40R18 and 255/35R18. I would say not to expect a better riding tire though.
If I can help let me know.

If you've got the 16's or 17's, switch to the Continental ProContact SSR runflat.
If you have 18's, I think your only option is the Potenza or the Michelin ZP runflat. Neither will last but about 20k miles at best.

They are a number of 18" run flat options.

Looks like in the staggered 18's you have the choice of Potenzas, Michelins, Pirellis or Yokohamas...IMO the best of the bunch is the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2, but as most have said, don't expect them to last any longer, or necessarily ride less stiff.
