Head Lights

I have a 2000 740IL and recently the bright bulb burnt out and I replaced it.
Now the head lights stay in the down position and don't level up or down. Not bad on brights but dims are bad.

A set of D2 xenon bulbs at 6k will fix the dim problem, the auto leveling is probably due to a broken sensor in your right front wheel well. I think you can disconnect it, then manually adjust the lenses, but I have not done this. Start with the bulbs, and check your wires.

Do you have xenon light?

When replacing the bulb did you turn it to hard that you snapped the level adjustment?
Are both level sensors on the right front and right rear suspension still in one piece?
