i have an e46 328i and i just bought some 18 inch csl reps for an M3, they are staggered with the backs being 9.5 and the front 8.5. i just put them on and everything fit fine. then i drove to test them and noticed the left rear was rubbing. i then went back and parked and noticed that the same wheel that was rubbing, the fender was touching the tire, i could maybe slide my key through the gap. on the other side it was totally fine and i had good clearance. i did notice with the stock rims that the rear left was always slightly lower and squeaked on bumps frequently. of course with the stock 17's it wouldnt matter if it was a little lower. im not sure what to or what it is, is it a bad/blown suspension? can i just roll the fenders and get away with it? what can i do? any help would be great :help

roll them or go with some smaller tires. rolling would be easier

roll and/or camber plates. if you do go camber plates your inner tire wear will be evident after a little time thus requiring replacement tires sooner than normal. otherwise your gonna need to re-evaluate your rear wheel selection

Really? Nobody thinks it's a blown strut?

It can be a strut but I would say that the M3 wheels and tires are going to rub on the rear anyway.

well like i said its only one side that rubbing, the other side is completely fine, if it were a wheel fitment issue wouldnt both sides be rubbing? :confused

Take a look at suspension then.

how do you know only one side rubs? im gonna guess and say that you think only the passengers side rubs...
