Cylinder #2 had a melted "Power Coil" replaced it and it melted again.
Replaced all 6 with Bavarian Auto power coils.
Now no power to cylinder #2
BMW says if i have a bad wire to #2 it comes attached to a $3000 wiring harness...seems rude...lol
read a thread here where some one had same problem/same cylinder
found shorted wire to power coil
I thought new spark wires would be answer
until dealer said 3 grand
thought this could be answer but mechanic says no

looks right to me has a possible starting place and reasonable in price
also i had switched to platinum plugs before this problem started
hitting 200k.
