07 335i weird cold starting idle issue

So this just started, when the car gets turned on specially in the mournings its idels really bad, like it wants to turn off goes from like 500 to 2k rpms. Back and forth... Do you guys think it needs a reflash?

Mine was doing that last week and I took it to the dealer.

"Low fuel pressure held in system. Reflashed to latest CPU coding." is what they completed.

It's fixed the issue for now. If it comes back, I'm guessing my HPFP system is in need of replacement.

They said that the reflash fixes some low pressure fuel algorithms for idling and startup issues. They do it before replacing the HPFP.

If you're worried about "will I lose my power after the flash?" the answer is NO. I went for a 2 hour "cruise" with a Saleen S7 and a Viper GTS yesterday... and let's just say... the car felt great as we drove the speed limit ;)

ah ok great I figured as much. So people have stated that you loses power after reflash?
