Jag tables $60

Window shades $50 set

That's cool, if you have dibs then you get the first shot at them (proper forum etiquite). If you decide you don't want them then I will be second in line.

I was selling them as sets of four but all the sets have been sold. I am going to the yard again and there are some more Vandens left so I should be able to get another set.

Cazal is the originator of this mod and from what he said you want the grills from an 89-95 as they are the 5 1/4" and the later are 6" and do not work well. I must have gotten lucky because all of the sets I have pulled have been the smaller 5 1/4"

These tables are in very good condition compared to the ones I have refinished for my car a couple of months ago. I only have one pic of them at the moment but the stain is a dead match. This was an early pic with just the coating before it was sanded and buffed.

Armymp gets them! I am not sure about Forum etiquette on this one. I always follow forum etiquette and from what I understand is the first person who pms, emails, calls and commits to purchasing them gets them. I got 2 Pms within minutes of each other and Marty had some questions and quote said " I may want them" and Army said I will take them how should I pay for them. I may have made an oops here but I will make it up to you Marty. Marty I have come across 4 sets of these in the last month and I have complete access to one of the largest late model foreign junkyards in the US that is restricted from the general public. They have over 35 E38s 50 something e39s and about 10 M5s. I am heading there next weekend so make me a list of your items you may need or want and I will make it up to you ten fold. I normally send parts out that I am not going to use for free. I sent another member a leather dash dash for free and I did not even ask him to pay shipping.
Franco! Thanks for the kind words.... you are the man.

I tried many different tactics to remove the clear. I ended up using a heat gun to remove the heavy hard coating. That was the easiest way and did not damage the veneer. Chemical stripper did nothing to the finish. ICE recommended a walnut stain and he was dead on. Good luck and let me know how it goes.

I always get fantastic deals but if I am picking up an engine he will normally let me fill my truck for just the price of the engine and I am going up to get a Bmw 2.8 block for a friends insane turbo project.

Yeah, I checked those out last night and emailed the seller about shipping. The price is too high and the shipping is off the charts at $33. I hate it when ebay sellers try to make money on shipping. I know these could be shipped anywhere in the USA for about $10-$15

You could flag it, i'm 99% sure it's against ebay rules to try and make money on the shipping. But then again you really don't see these pop up much anymore... your call, the last time i saw them on ebay i bought them 8) and that was the beginning of June.

Marty I found the tops wood piece for you with the rarer lights in them. Some one got the tables before I did but I think I know where there are a couple more sets. If not I will sell you the tables I have started refinishing. I talked to my main yard and he has a car with qoute " the nicer interior with the tables and mirrors" so I am heading up there next weekend and I will pick the BMW stuff up for me and I will let go of my other set of jag tables. Send me your address and $5 for shipping and I will send you these.....

would like the speaker covers..any chance of scoring two more for a set for all doors?
I found another complete set of the Jag covers off an earlier car and I think they are the exact ones cazal used. I used the later ones but the earlier ones should mount in much easier and the chrome ring is bigger. Here is a pic of the set I have for sale and the differences of the ones I have installed in my car. The ones for sale are the ones I am holding and mount with bolts while the ones in my car mount with tabs. The only difference is how they mount and the rings on the later ones are stainless while the earlier are chrome.
They are the set on the right for you!
I have a set of two of the later style left for $15 if anyone else is interested.

http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/bb188/achtungschnell/804bf7f8.jpg
Here is a score I made for myself since my rear shade does not work...... I got this for $5.68 because they categorize this as a parcel shelf. The motor works great but the shade does not retract all the way. I will part the drive out of it.

I have a set of two of the speaker grills left. I know that yard has officially been covered. I will check another yard this week. I think I have overlooked all the jag stuff at the other yard. I remember passing by some. I will hold off on your package tomorrow morning until I go to the other yard this week. I will let you know what I find. I know it is scary to say but I normally pass on all the wood stuff from the 750s except for the b pillars because personally I do not like it. I can not stand the porn lights..... I have made my own with the LEDs from a bunch of the front dome lights.
I know have a rear shade for sale now. I changed out the motors from this one to mine. In the mean time I pulled my old motor out and checked the motor and trans and unjammed it and it works really well now. The cover faded and there is a small mark on the shade itself but it works very well. if someone is interested or interested in the parts let me know!

Does this mean you have a good motor up for grabs? The rear shade on my wifes 95 crapped out. It worked when I got it but now nothing, stuck in the down position. I just went out to the car and pounded on the rear shelf and tugged on the shade a little and pushed the butotn and it went up and pushed it again and it went down as it should:redspot Then I tried it again and nothing worked:mad I played with it for a while and not working at all again. They're on the first page :stickoutt
Thanks. :)
How do these differ from the other type? I thought they were the same across the board. :confused

There are pics on the second page. If you look at the photo with seven speaker grills on my trunk they are the set of four to the right. These grills have a larger chrome ring while the later have a stainless ring. They are just hair smaller but fit the opening better, they also have posts that mount very similar to the BMW ones. $20

I still have a set of the early grills if anyone wants these. These are the style that cazal used and fit the opening a little better and are easier to install.
hehe...I like to think of it as my own contribution to e38 modding . I would of never figured it out if Cory didnt come up with the Jagaur picnic table mod.....Glad to help others...:redspot
There are 2 sizes out there....5`1/4 and 5` 1/2 or 6`..never actually measured it...5` 1/2 is a bit too big and looks funky and out of place as the ring overlaps over the rescessed round mount hole of the door panel... 5`1/4 fits like a glove and seamless on the door panel and looks very OEM.....Earlier jags have the 4` chrome speaker grills and obviously does noT FIT

Thanks cazal! The ones he has pictured are the ones that I have a set left. Here are the late 5 1/2 ones that I have mounted in my car. The set I have for sale is the 5 1/4 like cazals.

I'll take the 5 1/4" set of four if they look as sexy as they do in cazal740i's 7! :D
