It is very important to realize that my car is completely up to spec. in every way shape and form.
no accidents, very clean paint, 9.5 out of 10 interior, the best color combo silver on black and EVERY possible option from BMW. (luxury package, performance package, cold weather package).
i don't think you'll be able to find a M3 in this shape with all the things and 'fixes' i did at this price. not even a CPA car from a BMW dealership
1. new M3 brakes rotors and pads ($350 includin labor)
2. new suspension: front and rear adjustable koni struts/H&R sport springs/rear shock mounts. ($1350 including proper installation, alignment)
the M3 shocks are completely shot at 50K miles. when i pulled them out, i could push the shocks in myself.
the stock M3 springs are like driving a boat. the car sits high, doesn't look right and bounces around.
stock rear shock mounts will rip and break after short while, i can also almost guarantee that unless the guy or dealer replaces them, they are bad and you won't even know it. the stock M3 shock mounts are no good. i got GC aftermarket ones which are much much stronger.
3. Door lock actuators replaces in front and passenger side ($350 including labor)
this is known to go bad PERIOD.
4. water pump ($175 including labor); another known issue i had replaced.
5. Ignition Lock mechanism. ($700 including labor); another weak spot in BMWs in general. i just had to replaced about 1 month ago.
6. Brand new battery. ($100); at 50K miles, a new battery is a MUST.
7. 18" rims/tires; ($2000); as you know, i have the SSR semi forged wheels. only 18 lbs. each and brand new Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3
have a look at these tires on tirerack: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Goodyear&tireModel=Eagle+F1+GS-D3&partnum=245YR7F1GSD3&partnum=44YR7F1GSD3&vehicleSearch=true&index=0
with less than 1500 miles on these tires. i can almost guarantee the tires on any other M3 50K miles or more will need new tires.
i dont think you can find a M3/4 a with this mileage and these improvements/fixes done to it at this price anywhere.
so, if you found an M3 car at even $18K (in worse or same condition) and did all the fixes/upgrades i did, you be at $22,500 already.
so, i want to offer this at a good price of $20,900. i need to move this vehicle.
you can call me. 917-952-5033
thanks,
Walden
