I have a 2000 740 with a MK2/3 (Small 4' screen) not sure yet which generation Nav system it is yet.

I am looking at buying a set of 8 Nav cd's from a 2008, will they work?:help

I did not get any Nav cd's when I bought the car, they were missing so I haven't even tried to make it work.

Other than the MK4 system DVD's won't work, is there anything else I need to know before I buy them? http://images.bimmerforums.com/vb3images/icons/icon5.gif

yes... those should work... you have a MKII system unless it's been upgraded.

Thanks,

I ordered them. They came with the original BMW case and the price was right, $75.00 Dollars & free shipping. :redspot

I saw a set that was an older version go for $139.00 plus shipping.

Did you say 2008 CD's? I didnt think that made the CD version update for our MkIV system anymore (at least 2008 is pretty new) My newest version that I have is a 2003 version. I would love to get a newer version.

where did you get them from for $75.00 Are there several disks?

thanks

I just kept going back to EBAY and looking at all the offers for the CD's. I found a complete set of 8 and snapped it up.

I have put my car back together from EWBAY parts. Oeners manuals with the correct leather case, first aide kit, foot rests, ABS moduel, 1/4 window shades and the list goes on.

There is alot of junk but if you take your time and look, you can get some really good deals.
