You gotta remove the OEM lip to install this. I tried to do it over the OEM lip...no go LOL. same OEM mount points which is a plus.

It sits about 0.5" lower than the stock lip.

Hey bro...you can use longer screws but on my bumper, I was missing all those clips behind the bumper. So I did it the old fashioned way. Bolt + washer + nut. This ensured the lip will never come off and also it helped with holding the lip flush with the bumper. You tighten all hand tight first, then starting with the middle outward, you start tightening them to ensure a flush finish. PM me if you need help ;)

Nah, can't fix it unless i use some kind of plastic resin to fill in the gaps. i was a little disappointed in the fitment for mine.

Can you see if you can exchange it for another one? I've seen some varying fitments with these kinds of lips, even on my E39 M5.

i haven't bothered to check with them because the guy was a dick when i was buying it. he was rude so i didn't want to bother with it. was disappointed in the costumer service after spending almost $200 bucks, could have at least be nice to me for doing business. but it was a few months ago so i'm sure i can't exchange it now. there should be a ABS option too so you don't have to worry about breaking it on the road.

Damn sorry to hear bro :(
I'm not sure if the lip has changed since then but mine was flexible. It seemed like it was ABS with a CF overlay. -shrugs-

same here, was about to order $300+ of stuff and dude was a dick after keeping me on hold for 15min, so placed that order with another veondor.
If I can see some more pics of this lip and if I can still get one, I'll give DDM another shot at my business.

anyone having problems with the CF wrinkling on this piece?
my car is garaged and not left out too long in the elements but i am experiencing wrinkling in the top of the splitter. car only goes out on weekends and not for that long either. splitter had only been on the car for 7 months.
Did i get a defective piece?

The lip hasn't been on the car that long but it looks like a quality piece that should not wrinkle, especially for a garage queen in 7 months. Might be defective bro :(
