Heard the Dinan V2 catback in person?

I'm exploring exhaust options. Anyone heard the Dinan V2 catback in person? Would love feedback on sound and/or performance.

You happen to know the diameter of the two exhaust pipes leading up to the can are?

It's not loud enough to be obnoxious, but it'll certainly get someone's attention if you romp on it. One of the classier sounding exhausts.

I think the piping is 2.25 or 2.5 up to the can...

I have a Dinan V2 Exhaust, OBD2 Mid Pipes and JVT headers..

My car sounds awesome and doesn't seem to drone at all. It's quite nice being able to listen to music. :stickoutt

Maybe.. one day I will try to get a sound clip.

I have a V2 and really like it. Not too loud, not too quite. Very nice sound.

IMO, the best sounding exhaust around. My brother has one on his '99 M3, very aggressive at open throttle, subtle and the closest thing you'll get to 'exotic' around town. No rasp, sounds amazing between 2-4k RPM. Switching into Vanos is quite audible with the Dinan exhaust.

I have a short, low-quality video of his car doing a 60-120MPH pull. I'll see if I an find it...

i have the v2 on my 99 m3 and im very happy i went with Dinan over the other brands, its not loud enough to get on your nerves (important in a convertible when ur just crusein) but just right when you open the throttle, id have to dissagree with the other guys because from outside it does sound raspy at full throttle but i prefer rasp over deep sounds like how the civic fart cans fail at life

i have to disagree with dinan V2 being raspy. I just had a track event at laguna seca and the car just made more a deep grunt noise more than anything. Very classic IMHO. Got alot of complements too and i was with the porsche club event :)

Not raspy at all...very deep and agressive... muslce car-ish. Looks great too!

i like my v2. it has a nice sound. not annoying on the freeway drives. i want to try an aa gen 3.
